I have been writing stories since my schooldays, winning competitions and writing for a variety of publications and anthologies. I’ve been a magazine designer, typographer, art editor, trainer and technical consultant to many creative consultancies. In the past I’ve written technical reports, training manuals, articles on design and marketing and had a regular column in Graphics International. I was a social media director for a while and blogged professionally on marketing as well as advising companies on content creation.
I am a professional proofreader and editor. As well as short stories and novels, I have proofread a number of PHD theses and two best selling non-fiction books.

My creative writing has won competitions and appeared in many publications and anthologies. Currently I write for the Harvey Duckman anthologies, Tenebrous Texts, the Hopeless, Maine project as well as self publishing. I also produce SteamPaper, a monthly email newsletter for the UK steampunk community with over 4,000 subscribers.
